Results Description
3.1  Job status

The Job Status bar demonstrates the status of a job in real time, including the status (waiting, running, error and finished) of each step and the time used.

3.2  Cluster & Filter result

Cluster & Filter Result shows the preprocessing of the raw reads, including removing adaptor, clustering and selecting user specified tags.

When you click the ¡°Details¡±, the detail information about selected tags was shown.

3.3  Genome mapping result

In this part, the statistic of mapping result showed.

3.4  Non-miRNA mapping result

When we got mapped tags, we further aligned those mapped tags to non-miRNA database built by us to filter those non-miRNA tags. (Figure 5).

Moreover, we provide the detail information about non-miRNA RNA (mRNA and ncRNA in Rfam). The number of each bar in the figure 6 is the total reads number in the bar.

When you click each bar, you can get the RNA family information in the bar.

You also can get the aligned reads in each ncRNA by clicking the link in figure 7.

3.5  Prediction result

In this part, you will see the conserved and novel miRNA in user¡¯s sample.

3.5.1  Prediction Result of Conserved miRNA

Figure 10 shows the statistic information of conserved miRNA.

In this table, you can see more information about each miRNA by clicking the link miRNA ID, miRBase and GBrowse directly.

In addition, you can see the mapped tags of the miRNA by GBrowse (It will be implemented soon). Moreover, the species information for every miRNA can be seen in a SVG picture.

3.5.2  Prediction Result of Novel miRNA

The statistic table showed the predicated novel miRNA.

In this table, you can see more information about each miRNA by clicking the link miRNA ID and GBrowse directly. The sequence alignment information and stem-loop structure for the novel miRNA are same as conserved miRNA (figure 11).
